Aquababes is our specialised learn to swim programme for toddlers and babies.

We aim to promote safety skills, a love of swimming, and a sense of confidence and independence for toddlers and babies.

Our swimming lessons focus on getting babies comfortable in the water and teaching them basic co-ordination, as well as early awareness and survival skills.

Baby swimming lessons are a great opportunity to strengthen gross and fine motor skills, enhance co-ordination and balance, provide positive encouragement, help develop social skills, and improve cognitive development.

Because you’re in the pool too, it’s a great bonding experience for you and your child. Once babies learn to love being in the water, they’re in a great position to begin to learn to swim.

All our infant teachers are highly trained and skilled in teaching infant aquatics. We recommend that you swim with your little one at least once more each week outside of lessons when possible.

Our Pools

BaySwim’s learn to swim pools are a slightly higher temperature so that both you and your child remain comfortable for the duration of the swimming lesson.

The water in all of our pools is managed by qualified pool water technicians so you have the highest quality water to swim in.

Greerton has a high spec filtration system, while Baywave is treated by ultraviolet light (similar to the way our drinking water is treated) meaning extremely low levels of chlorine.
