On Friday, 15 of the BaySwim Crew travelled to Auckland to train alongside 60 swim teachers from Hamilton and Northern Arena swim schools. In pool sessions followed by classroom theory was led by the likes of Olympian Dean Kent, giving the group opportunities to learn why and how, along with share experiences and methods of teaching. Great holiday activity which helps to fast track your swimming ability....and then stay and play for free!!!
Each five day clinic consists of 30min or 45min lessons (dependant on level) which run at the same time each day, over the dates below:
• Week 1: Monday 8 to Friday 12 January | 8.45am – 12.00pm
• Week 2: Monday 15 to Friday 19 January | 8.45am – 12.00pm
• Week 3: Monday 22 to Friday 26 January | 8.45am – 12.00pm
Lessons are suitable for children aged three years and up and are held at Baywave, Greerton and Memorial Pools
